Before we go on a tangent about tin foil hats and unrealistic internet researchers. Let me explain that I am first a computer programmer (I am the original creator of this website), and do trust my skills beyond the ability of most when it comes to technology. This story may be a little far fetched for the not so tech-savvy, but one thing I do know is, technology has a hard time lying. You can’t change the past when it comes to technology. In that sense, it’s very unforgiving.
An internet researcher has discovered some interesting information (to say the least) about the initial hacking of the Democratic National Committee. On June 14th, 2016 the DNC first released a statement online saying the DNC was hacked. The very next day, the cyber-security firm Crowdstrike suggested it was the Russians. Also on this day, Guccifer 2.0 (whom has long been a suspected fake leak and insists he’s not Russian) publishes his first documents.
Guccifer 2.0 was responsible for releasing 10 Microsoft Office documents from the DNC. The first five documents, have mistakes inside what is called the metadata. Metadata is information hidden within a file that holds details about the actual document itself.
In this data, here is what some of the information in these five files looks like. Note that the ‘modified author’ is said to be because Guccifer 2.0 put his “watermark”, or “claim to fame” in the file.

Who is Warren Flood?
The problem is, the other Wikileaks documents can be verified to their original creators. These cannot be. I’m going to to use a excerpt from the original Redditor’s post about who Warren Flood is, because he sums it up very well.
Warren Flood is a high-ranking technology official for Democratic operatives, having worked for Obama for America, DNC and Joe Biden. It’s a unique name. His name does not appear in any of the Wikileaks emails, meaning that he appears to be a third party as far as the DNC email leaks are concerned. Other than his (professional Internet) profile, he is a social media ghost, never having made any Tweets nor any evidence of real social media activity.

The following line is also in the metadata for each of the first three files, and is specific to only the author, and not the modifier of the file in Microsoft Office.

The “\langfe1049” portion is attached to using the Russian language as default in the MS Office suite. Since this data is specific to the author, that is strong knowledge for concern that Warren Flood was using the Russian language when these files were created. Why? He is not Russian.
There are many questions you need to ask yourself when reading information on the Internet. There are also a lot of questions you have to ask yourself when reviewing information from the DNC. As I stated in the beginning of the article, technology has a real hard time lying. Here’s the original source for this information.
